My first project at General Assembly. After only two weeks of the course, we were briefed to build a simple using JavaScript and jQuery. Even though it was a bit scary at first, I had managed to deliver a simple flying birds shooting game via mouse by applying basic HTML, CSS and JS.
Hotels MEAN stack web-app, where users have to register and login to see previews of different hotels via eternal API, scrapes the content of the whole article from the provided URL into internal database and allow users to make Reviews on the article. Built using Node.js, Express, jQuery, MongoDB, BCrypt, JSON web Tokens, Ajax and Bootstrap for styling.
Our first group project at GA. In a team of two other pears, we decided to build a website that would allow you to share your items with your neighbors. Borro is the new social place where you can trust people and make new friends. My role was to implement the backend initial setup on Node.js, Express and MongoDB to authentication using BCrypt. I was then responsible for TDD.
My final project with GA. An application built on Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL at the backend and jQuery and Angular at the front-end. Decision was made to build an app, that could be widely extendable after graduating from the school. This app allows the users to be the sitters for a property, where the owner has to leave the property for a certain period of time.
